For audio dramas, audiobooks and music, yes: they come from the Apple Music catalog and require your own Apple Music subscription. Podcasts, YouTube videos and your own audio files work without Apple Music.

Browsing, favorites, the inbox, the queue and YouTube videos are free. zentr Play unlocks the zentr player for Apple Music, podcasts and your own files – with remembered position, sleep timer and queue playback. There is a yearly plan with a free trial week, a monthly plan and a one-time lifetime purchase, all with Family Sharing. zentr Play doesn't replace an Apple Music subscription.

In zentr under Settings → zentr Play → Manage subscription, or in iOS Settings under [your name] → Subscriptions → zentr. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period and it won't renew. Everything stays unlocked until then.

Sign in with the same Apple Account, open Settings → zentr Play and tap Restore purchases. With Family Sharing, the purchase also covers your family members.

Purchases go through Apple, so Apple decides on refunds. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

First check that zentr may access Apple Music: iOS Settings → zentr → Apple Music. Then check that your Apple Music subscription is active (Music app → Account). Some albums aren't in the catalog in every country; zentr then shows a note in the player.

Sign in to iCloud with the same Apple Account on both devices and turn on Settings → System → iCloud Sync in zentr. Favorites, inbox, queue and progress then stay in step. After a long break, the first sync can take a few minutes.

With an Apple Watch and sleep tracking, zentr reads your sleep stages from Apple Health and offers in the morning to jump back to just before you fell asleep. zentr needs read access to “Sleep” in the Health app for this. The data stays on your device. You'll find the options under Settings → Sleep & Statistics.

Under Settings → System → Advanced → Reset you delete favorites, queue, inbox, history and progress – with iCloud sync turned on, on your other devices too. Deleting the app removes its data from that device.
